Arlie William Bill Mattingly, 73, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2006, at Parrish Medical Center. Bill was born in Evansville, IN.

He came to Titusville in 1952. He retired from Brevard County School Board as a Construction Inspector. He worked for Pan American Fire Department for 17 years at Cape Canaveral, and was an Air Force veteran stationed at Patrick Air Force Base.

Bill was a lifetime member of Titusville Elks Lodge #2113, a member of the North Brevard Historical Society and the North Brevard Heritage Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Arliene and by his mother, Margaret Utley. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty; son, James W. Mattingly of Titusville; daughter, Lynda Siems and her husband, Steven of Titus ville; grandchildren, Karalynne McCarthy and her husband, Thomas of Orlando, Leslie Siems of Melbourne, Daniel Siems and fiance, Kimberly Newmeyer, and Shelley Siems, all of Titusville; great- granddaughters, Catherine and Phoebe McCarthy of Orlando; sister-in-law, Jeanne Connelly and her husband, Don of Titusville; and an aunt, Mary Jo McClanahan of Morganfield, KY.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 23rd, at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 24th, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
