MARVIN NORTON ROCKLEDGE Marvin L. Norton, 70, a long time resident of Rockledge, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2006, at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge.

Marv was born on October 27, 1935 at Clara Maas Hospital near Wildwood, NJ. He graduated from Wildwood High School in 1953 and also from Rutgers University in 1957 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. While working at IT&T, Marv earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering.

During the space exploration of the moon, Marv worked at RCA and GE for 23 years as a radar analyst in Signature Analysis.

In 1968, he also earned a Masters degree in Physical Oceanography at Florida Institute of Technology. Marv enjoyed membership in IEEE and the Bakers Street Irregulars.

Marv is survived by his wife , Petey, of 47 years; three sons, Karl E. (Diane) Norton of Parker, CO, Brian E. Norton of Palm Bay and Arthur R. Norton of Rockledge; three daughters, Jeannette A. Gulla of Potomac Falls, VA, Joy (Doug) VanCamp of Woodland, CA and Gail E. (Jon) Lewis of Gainesville; and six grandchildren, Lindsey Gulla, Julia and Justin Norton, Kenny VanCamp, Jacob and Isaac Lewis.

Marv will be missed by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 14th, at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Entombment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens.
