Paul E. Jackson, 74, died Friday, January 20, 2006.

Born in Williamson, West Virginia, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Paul came to Brevard County in 1958 from Williamson and was a member of the American Legion and Melbourne Moose Lodge.

He retired as a Security Officer at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and and enjoyed being a school crossing guard with the Melbourne Police Dept.

His grandchildren were the light of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dody. Paul is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lynn; stepson, James May; grandchildren, Alex and Chris; sister, Garnet Davis; and brother, William Jackson.

Calling hours are Tuesday, January 24th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held graveside at 10 a.m. Wednes day, January 25th at Melbourne Cemetery.
