ARCHIE R. McCABE COCOA Archie Ray McCabe, 73, died Monday, June 4, 2007 at Wuesthoff Hospice Center after a long fight with cancer. He was born in Spring City, TN on August 19, 1933 where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956. He worked in the aerospace industry in CA prior to moving to FL where he participated in the Apollo program and space shuttle program. He retired in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Lee McCabe of Cocoa; sons, Neil McCabe of Tehachapi, CA and Tracy Jackson of Cocoa; daughters, Connie McCabe, Denise Greene and Deborah Morrell of Cocoa; brother, John McCabe; sister, Ruth Thurman, both of Spring City, TN, and six grandchildren. Viewing will be Wednesday, June 6th at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, followed by funeral services Thursday, June 7th, 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Cemetery.
