Ad Astra: CARL BELCHER, 15 June, 2007

CARL BELCHER TITUSVILLE Carl James Belcher, 86, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2007. He was born in Ironton, Ohio and moved to Titusville in 1967, working at the Kennedy Space Center prior to his retirement. Mr. Belcher was a Master Electrician and a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was also a member of St. Lukes Presbyterian Church in Titusville. Carls life-long love of music resulted in his becoming an accomplished musician, being well known and loved for his playing of the harmonica. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy in 1982, and is the beloved father of Monty James Belcher and wife Patti, Robert Kenton Belcher, Kimberly Daniel and husband, Jim (Pat). Grandfather of Melinda Belcher, Brenda Vergara and husband Bert, Lauren and Ashley Daniel; and great grandfather of Breanna and Brendon Vergara. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at North Brevard Funeral Home, Titusville. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at North Brevard Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, Florida.
