EDWARD KEENAN ROCKLEDGE Edward Frederick Keenan, 85, of Rockledge passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007. He was born in Arlington, New Jersey. Edward served aboard several ships of the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II, including the troop carrier General Robert L. Howze. He moved to Rockledge in 1952, and worked for Pan American World Airways at the Kennedy Space Center for many years. Edward was an active member of St. Marys Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by Nancy, his wife of 51 years. He is survived by his sisters, Evangeline (Robert), and Louanne; his son, Terance (Gwen); and his grandchildren, Madeleine, Clare, Caroline, and Malachi. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 13th, at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home in Rockledge. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 14th, at St. Marys Church. Memorial donations may be made to the United Way of Brevard County. | |
