LAWRENCE V. DeSANTIS MERRITT ISLAND Lawrence Valentine DeSantis, 70, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 14, 1937. He came to Merritt Island with Grumman Aerospace to join the Space Program in 1966. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sally Ann; three children, Larry (Jackie) DeSantis, Jr. of Orlando, Gina (Nick) LaSpina of Merritt Island and Frank DeSantis of Palm Bay; grandchildren, Sheena and Joseph DeSantis, Nicholas, Alicia and Talia LaSpina, and Ivan Sierra; great grandchild, Angelina (DeSantis) Jiminez; sister, Angela (Salvatore) Sangemino of Clermont, FL; and many other nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Masonic Lodge, 247 South Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, FL. A reception will follow.
