GEORGE BILLIE, Sr., MALABAR: George Billie, Sr., 88, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008. George was born in Mt. Carmel, PA. He came to Brevard County in 1930 from East Port Chester, CT.

He was a retired High Pressure Gas Mechanic at Pan Am, Boeing and EG&G at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. He was a Merchant Marines veteran of World War II, and a volunteer Fireman for Malabar for many years.

George is survived by his son, George T. (Genie) Billie, Jr. of Palm Bay; three grandchildren, Thomas Billie, Jennifer (David) Gaffney and Donna Secura; four great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Dawson Gaffney and Christian and Angellina Secura; and a sister, Anna Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 24th, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home.
