John E. Dillard, 85, of Melbourne, FL

passed away Monday, September 15, 2008, at his residence. John was born in Fayette, WV. He came to Brevard County in 1957.

He was retired from Lockheed Missile and Space at Kennedy Space Center.

John is survived by his wife, Mary, brother-in-law, Jerry Winters of Blythville, AR; and sisters-in-law, Charlene Copley and Billie Jo Schell.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m, Thursday, in the funeral home chapel.

Sincere appreciation is expressed by Mary and the family for all the loving care and support provided by the VITAS Health Care personnel to John.
