RUSSELL GOLD, COCOA

Russell L. "Russ" Gold, 51, a missile technician and heavy equipment operator, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was born in Wichita, Kansas and came to Brevard County in 1984 from Miami.

Russ worked for Lockheed as a missile technician and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the IUOE Local #487 Miami, FL and the IAM.

He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Gold; stepson, John (April) Canarie; brother, Larry (Terry) Gold; grandson, Bradley Canarie; and his neph ew, Scott (April) Gold. A visitation will held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 12-2 p.m. at the Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home. A celebration of Russs life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Brevard Memorial Park. Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
