ROBERT HAYES, MELBOURNE

Robert C. Hayes, age 79, of Melbourne passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Robert was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and moved to Brevard County in 1963.

He worked as a systems analyst at Kennedy Space Center and was a musician who played with his Jazz Trio at many local venues. He was an Army veteran, a member of the Masons and in the musicians union.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his son John Hayes; his daughter, Frances (David) Boykin and granddaughter Candice, Christine (Steve) Hayes and grandchildren, Brandi, Danielle, Michael & Patrick; great-grand children, Kaitlyn, Scott and Edith; and his sister Patricia L. Houston.
