JAMES HAZELTON, COCOA

James "Haz" Hazelton, 71, of Cocoa, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008. He was born in Ogdensburg, NY, on August 29, 1936.

He moved to Brevard County in 1958 where he began his almost 50 year career at the Kennedy Space Center.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughters Patricia (Jim) Hull and Jennifer (Scott) Jewett; five grandchildren, Ben Fulton, Jessica Fulton, Spencer Jewett, Dylan Jewett and Madeline Hull, all of Winter Springs; sister Ann (Ron) Reid and niece Karen Reid, all of Massena, NY, and his beloved dog Foxie.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 17th, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Rockledge. A funeral Mass will be held Friday July 18th, at 10 a.m., in the Marian Chapel at St. Marys Catholic Church in Rockledge.
