![]() KEITH ERNEST LEWIS KEITH "Chuck" On Monday, December 29, 2008, Ernest "Chuck" L. Keith, (age 79), of Derry, New Hampshire and Bethesda, Maryland. An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a retired NASA Engineer since its inception, he was a dedicated member of the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Skylab support teams. He started his career at Cape Canaveral in Florida, then the Johnson Space Flight Center in Houston, Texas and retired from NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Chuck was an alumnus of Pinkerton Academy and the University of New Hampshire. He was a member of the Veterans Association, the American Legion and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. A devoted husband, father and brother, he is survived by his wife Parvaneh and son's Dr. Dana Keith and John Ossanlou , daughter Roya Delaney, sisters Barbara Gibbons and Monica Donegan, as well as grandchildren Nina, Carla, Sam, Tara and James. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 6301 River Road, Bethesda, MD at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society or Montgomery County Hospice. |
