JAMES F. ROBERTSON, TITUSVILLE

James F. Robertson, 87, retired from Armco Steel Company and the Kennedy Space Center as a shuttle engine technician, died Saturday, January, 19, 2008, in Morganton, NC.

Mr. Robertson was born in Eunice, Raleigh County, West Virginia, and moved to Florida.

He was a decorated veteran of World War II. Jimmy was at Pearl Harbor during the bomb ing and was sent to serve in the Pacific Theatre. He was in the invasion of Guadalcanal and proceeded to the Philippines. Mr.

Robertson was a member of American Legion Post 1 and the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lena Mickey; daughter and her husband, Mary Ginger and Jerry Shealy; son, James Terry Robertson; two grandchildren, Jerry Shealy and Cheryl Conaway; four great grandchildren, Clay Price, Alex, Madalynn and Wyatt Shealy; and a sister, Mildred Eckerd.
