DOUGLAS SHAFFER, MIMS

Douglas Eugene Shaffer, 56, of 2451 Bradford Court, Mims, FL, died Monday, April 12, 2008 at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Doug was born May 14, 1951 in Princeton, West Virginia and came to Brevard County four years ago.

He worked as a boiler-maker in the railroad industry before working in security at Kennedy Space Center.

Douglas is survived by his daughter, Jessica Shaffer of Mims, FL; his father Robert E. Shaffer and his stepmother Gail of Bluefield, VA; his mother Margaret Martin of Pearisburg, VA; and his sister Cynthia Veneri of Land O Lakes, FL.
