MARY LOU SINKULE, MELBOURNE

Mary Lou Sinkule was born August 15, 1942 in Plain, Wl, the daughter of Louis and Josephine Hetzel.

Through the dedication of her family, Mary Lous wish to live and die in her home was fulfilled. Her home was her personally created sanctuary and it is fitting that her home and her loving family facilitated both her greatest joys and deepest pains. Mary Lou passed to her eternal heavenly rewards on Sunday, September 14, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Mary Lou moved to Brevard County, Florida in 1986. She was a contractor for Kennedy Space Center, with her current employer being ASRC. Mary Lou received countless awards while being employed at KSC.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother, Anthony Hetzel, niece, Michelle Hetzel; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Mary Lou's belief that her family of guardian angels will welcome her into the Kingdom of God's glory is shared by her survivors and gives us comfort.

Mary Lous survivors include her daughters, Linda Sinkule of Melbourne, Sue (Tom) Mulligan of Arizona, Lisa (John) Gits of Wisconsin, Diane Sinkule (Carl Kandiko) of Malabar; son, Frank (Peg) of Colorado; brothers, Fred (Helga) Hetzel of Georgia, Jerry (Pat) Hetzel of South Carolina, Joe (Diane) Hetzel of Wisconsin; sisters, Alice (Tom) Asleson of Wisconsin, Marge (Tom) Brantmeyer of Nevada; grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Mulligan, Maddison Gits, Alyssa and Dalton Kandiko; many nieces, nephews, cousins; one aunt, Anne Reisinger of Plain, WI and numerous special friends.

Mary Lou believed in the philosophy expressed by singer Martina McBride, "God is Great, but sometimes life ain't good. When I pray, it doesn't always turn out like I think it should, but I do it anyway." Mary Lou did it all. She sang. She dreamed. She believed. She loved. She prayed. In spite of all the challenges, obstacles and pain, she just did it anyway.

Mary Lous survivors wish to extend their deepest gratitude to all of her caretakers at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Cancer Care Center, and Wuesthoff Hospice and to all who visited, helped in her home, and prayed.

The family sends a special thank you to Dr. Silas Charles, Dr. Mark Hanley, Dr. Lee Theophelis and Dr. Lauren Romeo for their extensive services. Also thank you to Mary Lous special "circle of friends", Sister Immaculata and Father Tobin for their prayers and spiritual guidance throughout her battle.
