ROBERT WEINBERG, Jr., ROCKLEDGE

Robert E. Weinberg, Jr., passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008, following a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Brevard County, born May 6, 1943 in Melbourne, and was the oldest son of Leone and Gene Weinberg, now both deceased.

Bob worked in the space industry field and was previously employed by Rockwell serving as a spacecraft technician on the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs. He proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves.

Bob will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Eaton of Rockledge; former wife and friend, Cherie (Glen) Korman; brothers, Jim (Alice) Weinberg and Ron (Joyce) Weinberg of Longwood; and nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Bobs life will be held at a date yet to be determined by his family.
