PAULINE WHITE, GARNER, NC

Pauline Czuchrey White, 74, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC following a massive stroke.

A native of New Haven, CT, she was among the first pioneering female U.S. Marines serving as a corporal from 1952-1954. In 1996 she retired from a memorable civil service career at NASA headquarters, Cape Canaveral, FL.

She was predeceased by husband, William Foster White, Jr. and is survived by five children. Following her move to Garner, NC from Titusville, FL in 1996, she was an active member of Hollands United Methodist Church, where she taught bible school and served on numerous committees and church outreach programs. She actively pursued gardening, quilting and creative cooking.
