Harold Benjamin - Titusville

Harold K. (Ben) Benjamin, 74, of Titusville went to be with his Savior Monday, February 23, 2009. Ben was born in Belmont, NY, on October 29, 1934.

He served in the United States Air Force. Ben moved to Titusville in 1965 where he worked as an electrical technician at Kennedy Space Center. His dedication ranged from the Apollo Program through the mid-Shuttle Program and retired in the late 1990's.

Ben loved Jesus Christ, and his family, and they loved him. Ben was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Betty. He is survived by his children: daughters, Lori Lindsey (Hal), Carol Hayes (Randy), Sandi Wells (Brian) ; his son, John Benjamin (Liliana); thirteen grandchildren, Jeff Hayes(Traci), Ericka Byrd (Ken), Jamison Hayes, Jared Lindsey, Dustin Lindsey, Damaris Wells, Micah Lindsey, Kendrick Lindsey, Josiah Wells, Breanna Wells, Noah Wells, Austin Benjamin, and Ryan Benjamin; and five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Hayley, and Isaiah Byrd, Jayden and Taylor Hayes.

Ben was predeceased by his parents, Lyle and Helen (Cartwright) Benjamin of Belmont, NY and his sister, Elaine Jewel. He is also survived by his sisters, Esther Hammond, Phyllis Benjamin, Joanne Mason, Bernita Comstock; his brother, Richard Benjamin (Shirley) of Belmont, NY; and his mother-in-law, Beatrice Paulman of Clermont, FL.

A memorial service for Ben will be held Saturday, February 28th, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 3380 Dairy Road, Titusville, FL at 10:30 a.m. Please sign Ben's guest book at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
