Thomas A. Jones - Cocoa Beach

Thomas Alvin Jones, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at his home. He was born in Hueytown, Alabama and moved to Brevard County to work in the space program.

Thom worked at Kennedy Space Center until he retired in 1990.

Thom is survived by his wife, Jenell Jones; children, Hazel Ann Jones, Rebecca Jones Wise, Susan Jones McCune and John Thomas Jones; a step-daughter, Beverly Jenell White; brother, Ted Jones; sister, Mary Clithero; grandchildren, Catherine Shanan Graham, Jeremy Blaine Wise and George Patrick Wise; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Jones.
