Kathleen Murphy, Cocoa Beach

Kathleen (Kay) Murphy, 73, died on Sunday, April 26, 2009. She was born in Fairbanks, AK, and lived in the Washington, DC area until she moved to Cocoa Beach in 1978.

Kay retired 11 years ago from The Kennedy Space Center Federal Credit Union where she was Branch Supervisor and Loan Officer.

Kay is survived by five children: Cindy Robinson of Cocoa, Richard Bowden of Denver, Donna Arnister of Cocoa, Lisa Helm of Springfield VA, John Bowden of Cocoa; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

She will be cremated and services will be held at Our Saviours Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach on May 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.

Her remains will be placed to rest in the Memorial Garden on the church grounds. A reception will be held at The Elks Club in Cocoa Beach following the interment.
