John C. Passamonte Merritt Island

John C. Passamonte, 76, died Friday, Febru ary 6, 2009 at Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice Care Center. He was born February 13, 1932 in Mount Morris, NY to Samuel and Mary Passamonte. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1950.

John was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1952 and served in the Korean War until 1954. He married Marilyn P. Agnello in 1962 and moved to Brevard County. John was a member of the Merritt Island Library Board and the Space Coast Woodturners Club.

He retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation at Cape Canaveral Air Station in 1996.

He was an avid woodworker in his retirement years. John is survived by his wife, Marilyn Passamonte; his daughters, Christine Passamonte, Kathleen McNulty and Michele Goodwin; son-in-laws, Kelly McNulty and Adam Good win; siblings, Matthew Passamonte, Samuel Passamonte and Marie Cyganovich; two grand-children, Kristen Hrkach and Joshua McNulty.

A mass will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 N. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2009.
