![]() Eldon Raley, Titusville Eldon Otha Raley, beloved husband, father and friend, born January 31, 1932, passed away at 5:38 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2009. Eldon lived well and loved well. He will be missed by his family and a host of people worldwide whose lives he impacted during his life and ministry on this earth. Eldon died quietly at home surround by family, after a one and half year battle with liver cancer. His life offered a unique blend of fathering and counseling to not only his natural children but all who were willing to befriend him. He ministered as an elder officially at Park Avenue Baptist Church and New Covenant Fellowship as well as unofficially at churches and homes all over the world. Eldon was an engineer for NASA at Kennedy Space Center beginning in 1961 with the Mercury Program, working Apollo, Space Shuttle and Spacelab, before retiring to a busy life of consulting and ministering. His memory still lives in the hearts of those who knew him and will continue to influence for years to come. Eldon is survived by his wife, Georgie Jean Raley; his children and their families: Randy and Karen, Michael, Stephen, Brian Raley, Rhonda and Al, Anna, Andrew Barrett, Joe and Fawn, Wesley, Bradley, Timothy Raley, Jeremy and Leah, Ashton, Preston, Trenton, Sofia Raley and Jody Hernandez; great-grandson, Tripp Raley; mother-in-law, Ella Jean Swain; brothers and sisters, Emily Ellis, Emmitt Raley, Doris Johnson, and Calvin Raley. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Park Avenue Baptist Church, with services following at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Heart Springs International Ministry, P.O.
