Joseph S. Russo, Cocoa Beach

Joseph S. Russo, 92, of Cocoa Beach, died at home on Friday, May 1, 2009. He was born August 7, 1916 in Greenwich, CT to Sebastian and Jennie Pugliesi Russo.

His family includes his wife of 54 years, Trudy; daughters, Linda Russo and Kimberly Russo; brothers, Carl Russo and Frank Russo; and grandson, Tristan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Frances.

Joseph was a US Army mechanic in World War II and later worked on the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs as an engineer for Grumman and Lockheed. He loved Florida and nature.
