GEOFFREY SCHNEIDER - CAPE CANAVERAL

Geoffrey R. Schneider, 51, of Cape Canaveral, FL, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009. Geoffrey was born in Summit, NJ on September 22, 1957. He has lived in Cape Canaveral since 1977.

Survivors include three daughters, Jessica of Cocoa, Sara and Haley of Titusville; a son, Christopher of Nampa, ID; his brother, Eric of Livingston, MT; and his mother, Ann Curington of Merritt Island.

He entered the Air Force in 1981 and served for five years. He was employed in the Aerospace Industry at Kennedy Space Center.

He loved the ocean and for many years enjoyed the challenge of riding the waves. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, January 31st, at Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral.
