![]() FRANKLIN SCHRAML MELBOURNE Franklin J. Schraml of Melbourne, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 11, 2009 at his home, after a difficult and challenging battle with Alzheimers. Frank was born February 24, 1921 in Baltimore County, MD. He married the love of his life, Eileen, in April of 1944 and was sadly preceded by her in death in November of 1997. After working on Liberty Ships at Bethlehem Steel, Frank joined the Navy Air Corps. He served his country honorably during World War II, being able to work in a job he loved; Air planes. After moving to Florida in 1958 Frank worked for Pan Am at the Cape; then moved to Kennedy Space Center and worked for TWA, Boeing, and retired as a Machine Shop Manager with EG&G in 1993. Frank will be greatly missed but his love and compassion for others will live on. He was very grateful for all the help he received from his caregivers, beloved friends and neighbors. He is survived in death by daughters, Melanie Starr of Titusville, FL, Brigette Thompson of Melbourne, FL and Kansas City, MO; a sister, Norma McGrath of Mission Viejo, CA; several nieces, a nephew and three grand dogs (sic), all of Florida. The family has elected to have a private service. Frank will be laid to rest at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, FL.
