Tina Gail Morris Angel - Danville, VA

Tina Gail Morris Angel, 52, of Danville, VA, died August 3, 2009, at her residence. Born December 26, 1956, in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of Ray O. Morris of Ringgold, VA and Betty Cullop Morris of Danville. She was married to David Allen Angel who survives. Their 20th anniversary was July 3, 2009.

Mrs. Angel was a 1975 graduate of George Washington High School and a graduate of Averett College with a BA degree. She had a Certification of Completion of Apprenticeship as a maintenance mechanic at Goodyear. She had worked for engineering supporting the Space Shuttle Program at Kennedy Space Center and also had worked for Boeing supporting the Delta Rocket Program at Cape Canaveral Air Force base where she retired due to illness.

In addition to her parents and husband, She is survived by a son, James Clay Angel. She is also survived by her special friends, the Blake family and many others.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Swicegood Funeral Home chapel, Danville, VA, with the Rev. David Abernathy and the Rev. Gene Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, August 5, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at the home of her mother, 30 Carlson Ave., Danville, VA. Swicegood Funeral Home is serving the Angel family.
