age 86, Melbourne, FL. Catholic., Passed away Monday Aug. 31, 2009 at 12:15 a.m. at Wuestoff Progressive Care Center. Born July 16, 1923 in Dover, OH..

Was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Moved to Brevard County (Cocoa Beach) in Jan. 1966 from Columbus OH. Retired from Rockwell International (and North American Aviation) after 32 years,, the last 18 at Kennedy Space Center.

Survived by his wife of 10 years Priscilla; sister Geraldine Kimble of New Philadelphia, OH; son Stephen Baio of Viera, Susan (Baio) Kircher of St. Cloud and son John R. (Rick) Baio of Smyrna, TN; stepsons Dan Miller of Titusville, and Rick Hinshaw of Rockville, MD. Larry had seven grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Ascension Catholic Church, US 1 Melbourne, FL. On Friday Sep. 4, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment: Florida Memorial Gardens. Donations to Wuestoff Hospice.

Comments: Mr. Baio was the tournament Director of the Pat Clarke Celebrity Golf Classic for over 12 years, benefiting the Haven. Larry served as an active member of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne FL. Larry suffered a stroke in June, 2004 and spent his remaining years as an active patient of Wuestoff Progressive Care Center.
