Richard Arlyn Barneck - Cocoa

Richard Dick Barneck, a retired Tour/ Escort driver with Kennedy Space Center, died Sunday September 20, 2009 at Wuesthoff Medical Center.

Born in Maison City, Iowa, he was a twice-einlisted Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

He was a loving and a devoted father and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Barneck, sons, Grant Barneck, Richard Barneck Jr., Russell Barneck, and Stephen Barneck, daughter-in-law Shawna Ducharme and son-in-law Rex Craft; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Sandy Craft and his brother, William Barneck.

Memorial Services will be held for family and friends Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church of Merritt Island. Arrangements by Family owned and operated Atlantic Mortuary and Cremation Service, Cocoa.
