Larry M. Lockridge Canaveral Groves, FL

Larry M. Lockridge, 59, of Cocoa, FL, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009. He is survived by his wife Laurie; his sons, Duane and Kevin Lockridge; his brother, Robert Lockridge; his sisters, Joann Lockridge and Nancy Shepard; his beloved chocolate lab, Roxy, three grandchildren, nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary Lockridge of Lakeland, FL.

Larry has spent the last 30 years working at Kennedy Space Center in the Communications field. He will be missed by his many lifelong friends he met through work, while playing softball or golf, or who shared his enthusiasm for fishing.

He loved the outdoors and in recent years shared a passion for gardening with Laurie and Roxy at their home in Canaveral Groves.

He will be remembered at First United Methodist Church in Port St. John on Saturday, September 19th with visitation at 10 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m. A wake will be held at Seafood Atlantic in Port Canaveral beginning at noon.
