Walter Loggins, Sr. - Merritt Island

Walter G. Loggins, Sr. of Merritt Island, Fl and beloved husband of the late Gladys, entered into rest Sunday, October 4, 2009. He was born in Stone, KY and was a long time resident of Brevard County.

He was retired from Cape Canaveral Space Center as a clean room specialist.

He is survived by his son Walter G. (Sue) Loggins Jr, two Grandchildren, Kelly (husband Rick) Champon and Michael Loggins and one Great-Granddaughter, Avery Champon. He is also survived by brothers; Carl Loggins Sr, Kenny (Wilma) Loggins, Dennis (Susie) Loggins, Tommy (Cheryl) Loggins, Ed (Karen) Loggins, Perk (Carol) Loggins and sisters, Brenda (husband Luke), Shirley, Mary (husband Paul), and Patsy. Walter was preceded in death by his wife Gladys and his brother Chuck.

Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. followed by funeral services Friday at 3 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Brevard Memorial Park.
