Kenneth Edward Nuchols, Cocoa

Kenneth Edward Nuchols, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was born in Knoxville, TN and came to Brevard County in 1965 from Oakridge TN.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Kennedy Space Center as a foreman.

Kenneth was a member of the Clearlake Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary; his daughter, Jeanne Williams; his son, Bob Nuchols; six grandchildren, Shelby Kobilis, Wendy Naster, Eddie Nuchols, Susie Rickett, Pam Nuchols, and Kim McAfee, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Nuchols. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with services following at Clearlake Baptist Church in Cocoa. Interment will follow at Brevard memorial Park.
