![]() Walter F. Tyler, Titusville Walter F. Tyler, age 91, of Oviedo and Titusville, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Win ter Park after a prolonged illness. He was a longtime resident of Brevard County. Born October 27, 1918 in Richmond, VA, he was a World War II veteran. He moved to Florida in the 1950s and worked as a policeman and fireman in Palatka. Walter moved to Cocoa and worked in security for Pan American World Airways from 1960-1981 at Kennedy Space Center, where he retired. He liked gardening, fishing, cooking, and making his special hot sauce and sweet pickles. He is now in heaven with his wife, Juanita Y. Tyler, Helen Fleet, his sister, and Clyde Johnson, his brother. Survived by daughter,Tena Tyler Houser and son-in- law, David W. Houser.
