Oscar Michener Fell, Cocoa Beach

Oscar Michener Fell, 77, passed away at his home Saturday, January 16, 2010 . He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ.

In 1966 Oscar moved with his family to Cocoa Beach where he began his career at Kennedy Space Center with the Apollo Program. After retiring from NASA, he went to work for Lockheed Space Operations with the Shuttle Program.

Oscar was also a disabled Navy veteran of the Korean War. He cofounded TACM3, Inc. with his eldest son and helped run the business up until his death.

Oscar is survived by his children, Mark, Troy, and Tara (Rod) Leith; brother, Elwood, and grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, and Ryan. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose, and daughter, Kyle.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, January 24th at Beckman- Williamson, Cocoa Beach, with a celebration of his life at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 25th at Church of Our Saviour. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.
