SHELL, SAMUEL "SAM" JAMES Age 82, born May 29, 1928 in Negley, Ohio to Ida Viola Anderson Shell and William T. Shell passed away November 19, 2010 after a long illness.

He served in WWII in Japan; and married (Norma) Jean Crawford Shell, October 24, 1952. He moved to Titusville, Florida in 1961 and worked at Kennedy Space Center for 30 years until his retirement.

An avid Nascar fan, he remained in Titusville until January 2010 when he moved to Enterprise, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Jean; and, his brother, William A. Shell. He is survived by his only child, Dea-Jaye Shell-Nagle and her husband, Christian Nagel of Enterprise, FL; two granddaughters, Amy Hedge-Nagel of Winter Haven, FL and Selina Nagle of Enterprise, FL and a niece, Beverly Shell of Negley, OH.
