Ellis R. Wiysel, Jr., 87, of Merritt Island, FL entered into rest on Thursday, November 25, 2010.

Mr. Wiysel was a resident of Merritt Island since 1967 and retired from the KSC where he worked on the Apollo moon mission. He also served his country during WW II.

Mr. Wiysel was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita B. Wiysel; and is survived by 3 sons, Curtis (Diane) Wiysel of Port St. John, FL, Michael Wiysel of Cocoa, FL, Gary (Amy) Wiysel of Cocoa, FL; daughter, Deborah (Rick) Beckstrom of Los Brazos, New Mexico.

He is also survived by a brother, Frank Wiysel of Van Cleave, MS; sister, Mary Watson and 6 Grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 9 AM - 11 AM followed by funeral services at 11 AM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, Cocoa, FL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice.
