MELBOURNE BEACH -- Alvin V. Corprew, 67, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001. Mr. Corprew was born in Norfolk, Va. He came to Brevard County in 1986 from Alamogordo, N.M. He was a retired TechSergeant in the U. S. Air Force and after the military, heretired from CSR as anElectronics Technician. Mr. Corprew was a Vietnam veteran, and a member of the VFW Post in New Mexico. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Barrett of Palm Bay; step daughter, Vicki Hicks of Canyon Lake, Texas; step-sons, Zane Porter of Sweetwater, Texas, and Butch Porter of Roscoe, Texas; nine grandchildren; brother, Kermit Corprew of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Corprew. Calling hour will be one hour before the memorialservice at 6 p.m. Thursday, at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Chapel.
