BRIAN LIETZJACKSONVILLE BEACH Brian James Graham Lietz, 54, born in Stevens Point, Wisc., on No vember 29, 1949, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004 in Jacksonvillle Beach, Fla. Mr. Lietz was the vice presi dent of Technology/Operations at WJCT and a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, Society of Motion Picture Televi sion Engineers and the Aircraft Owner and PIlots Association. Mr. Lietz was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church and proudly served our country in the Navy from 1968 to 1972. Mr. Lietz was an alumnus of the University of Florida where he was awarded his B.S. degree in Broadcasting. Mr. Lietz had a long time interest in Film. He served as Production Manager for Victor Nunezs classis film, Gal Young Un and produced a documentary entitled Waterways, celebrating the St. Johns River. Mr. Lietz was the director of engineering at WUFT-TV, Channel 5 in the 1980s. He was also a design engineer for Lockheed-Martin at the Kennedy Space Center in the early 1990s. Mr. Lietz is survived by his wife, Deborah; children, Graham and Mariah; mother, Rosemarie Beiring; brothers, Jeffery Graham and Craig Graham Leitz. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, April 23rd, at the St. Josephs Histori cal Catholic Church with the Reverend Dan Cody officiating.
