GREER MELBOURNE Carl A. Bill Greer, 74, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2004, at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge. He was born on February 4, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio where he met and married his wife of 49 years, Norma Greer, who preceded him in death. They moved to Florida in 1957 for employment prospects and warmer weather. Bill retired from Brevard County government and previously worked at Cape Canaver al for Martin Space Division on the Apollo project. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He played baseball with the Cleveland Indians in the late 1940s and enjoyed fishing and telling jokes. Bill is survived by his sons and their wives, Randy and Valerie of Lake Ridge, Va., Stacy and Jacqueline of Malabar, and Terry and Tina of Misawa, Japan; and ten grand children, Shaun, Terri Ann, Jason, Christopher, Ashlee, Brian, Jessica, Stacy Jr., Jimmy and Justin.
