TAYLOR TITUSVILLE Cecil (Mel) Taylor, 84, of Titus ville, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2004. Mr. Taylor moved to Brevard County in 1962 from Mobile, Alabama and worked for NASA as an accountant prior to his retirement. Mel is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith. He is also survived by his brother, Mitchell Beck, and sisters, Reba Lynch and Maggie McGuire, all of Birmingham, Ala.; and special niece and nephew, Wanda Thessen and Wayne Peak, both of Alabama. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, November 28, 2004 at North Brevard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2004 at North Brevard Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mels name may be made to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250-B Grumman Place, Titusville, FL 32780. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements. |
