CHARLES E. BROWNTITUSVILLE Charlie passed away on April 17, 2004 He was born in Washburn, IL in 1930. His family moved to Sanford where he attended Seminole High School, after graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean conflict. Mr. Brown moved to Titusville in 1955 and worked for RCA on the Missile Test Project in Radio Commutations. He retired from RCA/GE in 1988 as a Communications Engineer and then continued to work for Lockheed Martin from 1988 till 1999. During his time with Lockheed Martin he supported several satellite communication projects on the Shuttle program. He was also a scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America for over 10 years. He was the co-founder of St. Teresas School Fair and was the first President of Holy Spirit Catholic Churchs Parrish Council. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Anita Brown of Titusville, his 8 children, Nanette (Chuck) Zornes, Elaine (Larry) Harvey, Kevin Brown, Kim(Jim) Cherwin, Peggy Sharp, Keith (Sherieda) Rouleau, Kent (Monica) Brown, Stephanie(Mike) Wiggin. Sister Joyce(Lowell) Dean of Deltona,Fl, brother Bill(Dorothy) Brown of Valdosta, GA, 14 grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Wednes day, April 21, from 6 - 8 p.m. at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services are Thursday, April 22, at North Brevard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. |
