"C.J.'' CROWL TITUSVILLE Clarence J. "C.J.'' Crowl, 81, died Friday, December 8, 2000, at Jess Parrish Hospital inTitusville. Mr. Crowl was born in Canton, Ohio.
He served in the United States Air Force and was a B-52 pilot during World
War II, and the Korean War. Mr. Crowl was a prisoner of war for two and a
half years in Germany, where he was shot down. He had numerous awards,
including the Purple Heart. After retiring from the service, he worked for
NASA. Anybody and everybody that knew him, loved him. He loved talking to
people and telling his adventures. He was a graduate of Rollins College.
Survivors include his wife, Anne; two sons, Craig Lee and Mark Stephen;
grandson, Craig Lee Crowl, Jr.; sister, Mrs. Angeline Scott; and brother,
Herbert Crowl. He loved his little dog "Babe'', a Jack Russell Terrier. He
loved his family and requested a family only memorial service. He will be
greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Arrangements entrusted to East
Coast Cremation. |
