Curtiss N. Wade, 80, died Friday, March 26, 2004. Born July 29, 1923 in Har rodsburg, Ken tucky, he came to Florida in the the 1960s. A Chief Petty Officer, U.S. Navy, retiring in 1965, he worked for Link Aviation at Kennedy Space Center training Apollo Astronauts and retired from Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne as their Director of Plant Operations. He enjoyed gardening and watching birds enjoy his back yard. His family includes his wife of 29 years, Flo Wade; son, Duane Wade and his wife, Tina; daugh ter, Karen Wade; son, Kevin Wade; daughter, Tiffany McCaslin; grandson, Byon Wade; grandson, Shane McCaslin; brother, Charles Wade and his wife, Helen; nieces and nephews in Ken tucky and Indiana; and his four legged children, Tinker Kitty and Cocoa Pup. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2004 at South Brevard Funeral Home, Melbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Candlelighters of Brevard, in his memory.
