DAVID STEWART
COCOA -- David E. Stewart, 70, passed way Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at his home. Mr. Stewart was born in Watson, N.Y. and had lived in Brevard County for the past 40 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He later retired from Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Rockledge United Methodist church, a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, and a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing golf and was formerly involved with the Babe Ruth League and Little League. He is survived by his wife, Janet Stewart; sisters, Ruth Stewart of Lowville, N.Y. and Mary Biordi of Winter Haven; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18th, with services following at 11 a.m., at the Rockledge United Methodist Church. Burial will be in FloridaMemorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Rockledge United Methodist Church, 1935 So. Fiske Blvd., Rockledge, FL 32955. Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
