DEWEY GUY SATELLITE BEACH -- Dewey Guy, 79, a retired electrical engineer for Pan American at Patrick Air Force Base, died Friday, March 24, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

Mr. Guy was born in Colchester, Ill. He came to Brevard County in 1964 from Reading, Mass.

He was Protestant.

An Army veteran, he served with the 123rd field artillary in World War II. He later served with the Army Signal Corps.

Mr. Guy received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree in education from Western University in Macomb, Ill.

He was a member of the Round Dance Club and Computer Club in Satellite Beach.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Guy of Satellite Beach; sons, Thomas Guy of Park City, Utah and Steven Guy of Satellite Beach; daughters, Judith Thompson of Dallas and Linda Guy of Satellite Beach; brother, Robert Laird of Macomb; and three grandchildren.

No calling hours are scheduled. Services and burial will be in Colchester. Davis Funeral Home in Melbourne is in charge of arrangements.
