SURRENCY MIMS -- D. Lamar Surrency, 64, died Wednesday, December 13, 2000, at home. Mr. Surrency was born in Keysville, Fla. He came to Brevard County in 1958 from Plant City, Fla. He was an Inspector for Rockwell for over 28 years at Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Surrency was a member of the Indian RiverMasonic Lodge #90 F&AM,past District Deputy Grand Master, Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Order of the Eastern Star Lodge #6. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Emma L. Surrency of Mims; daughters, Deborah Blaylock of Port St. John and Debra; son, Jeffery Surrency of Georgia; and seven grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements. |
