Sr. ROCKLEDGE Donald L. Gordon, Sr., 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2004. He was born and raised in Whitehall, New York. He moved to Rockledge in 1958. He leaves behind his wife, Edith Gordon; son, Donald Gordon, Jr., and Mark Gordon; daughters, Donna Davis and Monica Schumacher; two grandchildren Kevin Davis and Delaney Schumacher; sisters, Lorraine Allaire and Bert DeLarn; one brother, Howard Gordon; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Gordon and son, Bruce Gordon. After serving in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957, he came to Brevard County. He worked as an electrical technician for NASA until his retirement in 1990. Mr. Gordon was a life mem ber of St. Marys Catholic Church in Rockledge and a member of the Elks and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed reading, fishing, golfing, cooking and humorous conversation. Visitation is Wednesday, August 4, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m., at St. Marys Catholic Church, Barton Blvd., Rockledge. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to East Coast Cremation, 632-1350. |
