DORA PARKER
COCOA -- Dora Lee Parker, 58, a scheduler, died Friday,September 29, 2000, at Wuesthoff Hospital. Dora came to Brevard County in 1964 from Chipley, Fla., where she was born. She was employed at Kennedy Space Center for various companies for more than 30 years. Mrs. Parker was a secretary for AFL-CIO, and a member of the Democratic National Committee. Survivors include her daughters, Sheron Parker of Cocoa and Brenda Johnson of Rockledge; sister, Betty (Edrick) Jackson of Rockledge; four grandchildren, Latoria, Letonio, Tony Jr., and Tamara; three special sons, Tony Johnson, son-in-law, of Rockledge, James Morice of Cocoa and nephew, CarlButler of Rockledge; aunt, Marie Gibson of Tampa; ex-husband and friend, Willie Paul Parker of Jacksonville; and a host of very special nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Stone Funeral Home in Cocoa.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Zion Orthodox Primitive Baptist Church inCocoa. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Stone Funeral Home in Cocoa is in charge of arrangements.
