| EARL PURVIS
COCOA -- Earl W. Purvis, 61, an electronics technician for 40 years at
Kennedy Space Center, died Tuesday, April 4, at Health South Seapines
Rehabilitation Center in Melbourne.
Mr. Purvis was born in Macon County, Ga. He came to Brevard County in 1958 from Clermont. He was a member of the Toastmaster Club on Merritt Island. Mr. Purvis enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars. Survivors include his wife, Kaltoum Purvis of Cocoa; daughters, Joanne Purvis and Nancy Martinelli, both of Rockledge; mother, Hattie Mae Purvis of Yalaha; brother, Lamar Purvis of Clermont; sister, Sandra Anderson of Yalaha; and two grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Frontenac. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral Home. |
