| Ernest McAmis, 76, of Bolivar, Tennessee died Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at Jackson Memorial General Hospital in Tennessee. He was born in Norton, Virginia and came to Brevard County in 1956 from Virginia. He retired from Kennedy Space Center as a security guard for Pan American where he worked for 25 years. Mr. McAmis was Protestant. Survivors include his daughter, Diana Carol Brown of Bolivar, Tennessee; sister, Louise Johnson of Goodview, Virginia; brother, Flint McAmis of Roanoke, Vir-ginia; one grandson, Scot Minter of Canaveral Groves, Florida. Calling hours are Sunday, 1-3pm and services will be Monday, 11:00am all at Florida Memorial Funeral Home with burial at Florida Memorial Gardens. Do-nations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2800 Aurora Road, Melbourne, Flor-ida 32935. Florida Memorial Fu-neral Home in Rockledge is in charge of arrangements. |
